To me, Le Toucan will remain a moment of everlasting grace. I can still see her walk in, look around for me and sit in front of me. Leaving her enough time to take off her glasses and show me her eyes, I asked her directly and with a smile: “What do you want from me?” She shot her answer back, quick and clear, without a smile and almost solemnly: “I want to live a love story with you!” Time stopped and I pretended nothing had happened. But my life had just radically changed. I was there, at the Toucan, in front of her.
